Well, if you can believe my folks, I’ve been writing since before I started walking and talking. I have very vivid and fond memories of myself as a young lad, writing stories, plays, songs, jokes and movies to entertain my family and neighbors in various make shift, backyard and living-room theatres throughout my childhood.
After my school daze, (pun Intended) it was directly into the wild world of newspaper advertising, that I excitedly jumped. Then later, I expanded my horizons, to include magazine and radio gigs into my growing repertoire’, and then eventually got hooked on the Internet, with website copy, email marketing and newsletter content quickly becoming my primary focus and source of income!

These “About Us” pages always bring me back in time to those first day of school moments where we had to tell something about ourselves and what we did over our summer vacation.
The nerves kick in, the chills start in the back of my neck, and I keep looking around the class as each person takes his/her turn, all the while contemplating the perfect time to lean just a little bit too far to the left and fall out of my desk, breaking the tension, and hopefully changing the direction of the current class discussion to something more important and less about me, myself and I.
For me, now that I am older and occasionally wiser, I know a better and less embarrassing trick. By starting with something about how doing this reminds me of a past life, it takes up valuable space and eventually all the room I get, so there is no real chance for me to discuss myself.
But since this site isn’t about me, I guess a touch of information is OK. I am a Gemini who likes fried rice, pizza, can type words in an order which hopefully come off as somewhat funny, and I believe artificial turf in sports is just not right. Professionally, I’ve been writing in one fashion or another for pretty much my entire career life, no matter if the job called for it or not. I try not to take everything so seriously. And, I have read more self-improvement book covers than I care to admit
